BARBARA CLARK If there's fun brewing, Barbara can usually be found stirring the pot. Barb” has a more serious side and is a good worker in classes and school activities. MARGARET CONOLOGUE Although Margaret appears to be a rather quiet person, her friends know that beneath her silence and firm modesty is hidden a fun-loving spirit, which perhaps accounts for her popularity. Two of Margaret's favorite pastimes are sports and dancing. Activities: Commercial Club I, 2, 3, 4; Tattler 4; Interclass Basketball I, 2, ,3 4; Interclass Volleyball 1, 4; Photography Club 4. RICHARD COCKS Dick” is known as our great outdoor man. When the fish are running high or low, he will be out in a boat trying to catch them. Another of Dick’s favorite past-times is hunting. All this gives us the clue to his character—a good sport whom we can’t help but like. MARIE CORDASCO Sparkling eyes and a mischievous grin are two of this Senior's outstanding characteristics. Although Marie appears to be quiet, she actually is bubbling over with activity. After graduation Marie plans to study at a junior college. LUDELLA COLEMAN A quiet and reserved Senior, Lu-della is known to her many friends as a kind, loyal girl who is ever-ready to give a helping hand. With a keen sense of humor, she also makes good use of her charming smile. Activities: Glee Club 3, 4; Spanish Club 3, 4; Interclass Volleyball 1, 4; History Club 4. RONALD COLEMAN Words cannot describe this popular Senior. With a winning smile and an ever-ready Hi” to all his classmates, Ronnie's invaluable service to his class, the football team, and many other school functions contributed much to their success. JOAN CORNWALL Joan is a typical teenager who is well-known and liked in Glen Cove High. With a cute face and a winning smile, she is charming to know. Joan enjoys a varied social life and her gay, carefree manner is a godsend to a party, usually making her the life of it. Activities: Glee Club 2, 3, 4; Inter-class Basketball 2, 3, 4. WILMA CRESSER It is no exaggeration to say that Wilma is everybody’s friend. The Class has come to count on Wilma as one who will always do a good job. ANTHONY CAPOZZi Anthony can best be described by the word easy-going. The possessor of a truly friendly nature, his jovial disposition has won him many friends. He has a flair for mechanics, and is gifted with a rare skill in this field. Activities: Latin Club I; Hand 2. ANGELINE CAPPIF.LLO Angie manages to keep her lovely, dark hair always glowing and attractive and this rule for neatness governs her stunning dress as well. Beneath her stately and well-groomed exterior, Ang’s friends know she is humorous and witty. Activities: Commercial Club I, 2, 3; Interclass Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4; Tattler 4; Interclass Volley Ball I, 2, 3, 4; Varsity Softball 2, 3- SIGRID CARLSF.N Sig , a pert and peppy senior, has been cheering our teams to victory during both football and basketball seasons for three years. Always smiling, Sigrid will never lack friends, especially among the class of 1950. HARRIET CARLSON Harriet can always be noticed by her sweet smile and lovely, blonde hair. She has made many friends because of her unaffected charm and because of her gay spirit. Being extremely conscientious, if he has something to do, there's no stopping him. CappyV’ broad grin and well-rounded personality make him an asset to any group. JOSEPH CATANZANO Joe has become known around school as a regular Joe , who is a truly good-natured fellow. His friendliness reaches all. Joe is a happy-go-lucky fellow, who will go far in this world on his personality alone. Activities: Interclass Basketball 1, 2; Interclass Baseball I; Latin Club 1, 2, 3. MARIE CATAPANO A sunny smile and laughing eyes are characteristic of Marie. Dancing and social events are her favorite pastimes but when it comes to settling down to school work, commercial subjects hold her interest. Facing life cheerfully with a willingness to work, Marie will always be well-liked. Activities: Drum Majorette 2, 3, 4; Intcrclass Basketball 3. 4; Interclass Volleyball 2, 3. ESTHER CHIRICO A possessor of jet black curly hair, Esther also is the proud owner of soft brown eyes. A very conscientious student. Esther is a veriouvminded girl, but she can easily make a quick change and display the jolly side of her character. These ingredients go into the making of an A-l personality and we feel certain that she will be tops in whatever held she enters. ROBERT CUNNINGHAM Bob, with his ready smile and ability to play the trumpet, is one of the best-liked boys of our Senior Class. Girls consider him cute and boys . like him for being a swell guy. His cooperative nature and splendid personality make him a welcome addition to any group. Activities: Band 1,2, 3, 4—President 4; Orchestra 2, 3, 4; Latin Club 1, 2; Masquers 3, 4; Track 3, 4; Soccer 1. TESS1E CZAJKOWSKI This attractive girl is known to most of her friends as Tess. To know her is to like her, for she is the fortunate possessor of a sparkling personality and is always ready with a helping hand and willing heart. JEAN CZARNECKI Jennie’s undying loyalty to the Red and Green” has inspired many a team. A pert little bundle of bliss, Jennie is also the possessor of an extraordinary laugh which can be heard echoing through the halls of Senior Alley during one of her many joyful moods. FRANCES DEL FERRARO Frances is a perfect lady, refined, and charming in an unassuming way. She has attracted us by her unaffected manner, her continual chccriness, and her joyous optimism. She is sincerely thoughtful of others, the outstanding quality that makes her a person well worth knowing. Activities: Band 1, 2, 3, 4—Secretary 4; PROFILE 4; Intcrclass Volleyball 4. TADRY DOMAGALA Tad”, a friendly senior, is a favorite of students and teachers alike. His genial personality is an excellent reason for his popularity. Seldom letting a dull moment go by, Tad’s amusing antics and sudden outbursts have brightened many a class. Activities: French Club 2, 3, 4—President 4; Biology Club 2; Soccer Manager 2; Interclass Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4; Bowling Club 4; Golf 3. 4; PROFILE 4—Advertising Manager. JOHN DONALDSON John is rated tops in the senior class—and he well deserves the honor. He has become popular mainly due to his joviality, and because he has been a go getter” for his class. Most at home in the chem lab”, John has added a special spark to the class. Ken” is everyone’s friend. We will long remember him for his skill on the football team as well as his willing participation in all his many other activities.
