VIOLET ANDERSON Everyone knows Violet by her demure but charming personality, her fine manners, and her pretty face. In summing up Violet, one would say that she is a perfect lady and will no doubt go far in later years. RACHEL ARAGONA When Rachel joined us two years ago, she got right into the swing of things and soon became an asset to the class. A dark, attractive girl. Rach” is the proud possessor of black curly hair and beautiful brown eyes. STEPHEN AUSTIN Stephen is that good-looking boy who entered Glen Cove High School last year as a transfer from Utica. Always a gentleman, he possesses a sincere and friendly personality that is hard to beat. Activities: History Club 1, 2, 3; Science Club 2; French Club 2, 3, 4; Tattler 4; Photography Club 4; Masquers 3, 4—President 4. PEGGY BARKER A lass with a bubbling personality is Peg . She is known throughout our school for her charming smile and friendly hi . Peg is a welcome member of any group. Activities: Library Club 2, 3, 4— Treasurer 3, Vice-President 4; Tattler 2, 3, 4—Circulation Manager 4; Interclass Basketball 2, 3, 4; Interclass Volleyball 3, 4; Softball 2, 4; Bowling Club 2; Photography Club 4. • -- THOMAS BARON Moose, as he is more commonly known, is an amiable, fun-loving student, always ready for a laugh. His abundant sense of humor has earned him an increasing number of friends. This valuable asset will be an added boost for him when climbing his ladder to success. Activities: Soccer 1; Baseball I; Science Club 1; Biology Club 2; Spanish Club 2; Interclass Baseball 2, 3. NANCY BERN Here is a very charming girl filled with much laughter, humor, pep, and fun. Nan’s” school spirit does not end here, however, for she is doing a terrific job as Co-Editor of the Tattler. Her sunny smile and dry wit have won numerous friends for her. A willing worker, she will go far in any field she chooses. JOHN BERTONE Big John has a nickname especially suitable. His size has accounted for his excellent blocking on our football team and he was one of the boys who made the Nassau County All Scholastic this year. V T- Vice President EDWARD BRITT Rock” is one of our easy-going Seniors who appears not co have a care in ihe world, except when he plays on the football field or when he puts all his energy into one of his many activities. President WARD GYPSON Ward has more than justified the faith his classmates placed in him when they elected him President. His services to the Class have helped make the Senior year a success; his winning personality and go-getting ways have been a big contribution, too. Secretary BEATRICE WANSOR One of the reasons for the success of the Senior Class is Bibsy. NOWELL BLAKE Nowell, a typical high school student, is a rare combination of wit and sincerity, a fact which perhaps explains his outstanding popularity. For how could Nowell, with his friendly smile and gentle manner, fail to win a host of friends? A camera fiend, he is an important member of the PROFILE staff. Activities: French Club 1, 2, 3— Treasurer 3; Biology Club 2—Treasurer 2; Photography Club 2, 3—President 3; Junior Opera Guild Representative 2, 3; Interclass Basketball 2, 3; PROFILE 3- HERBERT BOGE Known as Bogy” to his classmates, Herbert provides his friends with one of the finest personalities that can be found in the Senior Class. He is always ready to provide a little humor to brighten up the day, and, along with his cheerful personality, he has a great way of making friends. Activities: Glee Club 2, 3, 4; Masquers 3, 4; Dramatics Club 1. BETTE BRADY Cute, well-dressed Bette is a familiar figure to all Glen Covites. If there is some activity going on, you can bet on your bottom dollar that Bette will be there right in the midst of it. With her wonderful personality and carefree ways, Bette is all set for a happy life. ANN BUONINCONTRI Ann is rather shy and quiet, but who could fail to notice one with so ready a smile? She is equally willing to lend a helping hand anywhere, anytime. For so petite a girl, Ann certainly packs a lot of sweetness. Activities: Commercial Club 2, 4; Photography Club 3, 4. BRENDEN BUTLER ’’Bren,” as he is known to everyone, is a quiet and loyal Glen Covitc who has been a vital asset to the school's Glee Club for the past two years. His blonde wavy hair makes him quite an attraction to the opposite sex, but, being conscientious in his studies, his many interests are well balanced. Activities: Glee Club 3, 4; Interclass Basketball 1, 4; Band 2. JOHN CAGGIANO A quiet manner and a likeable disposition describe John to a T”. He possesses a fine sense of humor and is a skilled golfer. His dislikes are few and far between and because of this trait, we arc positive that John's success in whatever he chooses is assured. Activities: Executive Committee 4. PEARL CANNER Pearl, better known as Mitti,” is a cheerful senior possessing ability to make friends easily. With Mitzi's ambition and ability, she is hound to go far in all her undertakings. CONCETTA CAPOBIANCO Since they say, Laughter is the best medicine,” Chetta” should become a doctor. Chet’s popularity stems also from her willingness to work both for individuals and for the class.
