Freshmen of 15)00 didn’t look too different from the way we looked as freshmen in 1947. Our skirts may have been a little shorter, our school curriculum a little more advanced, but the excitement of entering high school has not dimmed with the years. The thrill of becoming recognized around school, the exciting adventure of making new friends, are experiences we shared with our parents and grandparents. Their Junior Prom was no less thrilling to them then our own successful one was in our eyes. In short, life’s best years, now as fifty years ago, are our school years. Seniors in 1900 and seniors in 1950 worked and played in much the same way to make high school a truly wonderful experience. Thus, in our album, we picture classes of 1950 — a distinctive product of the twentieth century.
