Dr. Francis C. Edmonds December, 1948, marked the retirement of Dr. Francis C. Edmonds from his position as school physician after more than thirty-three years of faithful and devoted service to the Glen Cove Schools. He will, however, always remain with us as part of our school memories. His warm friendliness and keen sense of humor, his faithful attendance at our football games, his readiness in times of emergency, as well as his regular visits to the schools will not soon be forgotten.
