Presidin over this ala affair neath the loftv towers of the Vineland Armory was his Lordship himself Harold Haines with his lovely ueen, Eve- lyn Duvall. N33 1, I 'vm Senior Out of the fog and into light and warmth, ex- citedly came the Senior Class on the night of February 4, 1956. The gym, so familiar in its drabness, was transformed into the intrigues of the Orient. The soft moonlight trees silouetted against dark waters, dragons looming out of the blackness, all set the stage for one of the most memorable evenings in our high school years. The rainbow hues of the gowns softly blended HHEB into a beautiful panorama as they gracefully dipped and swaved to the strains of Dan Han- na's orchestra. The spell broke for refreshment in the tea garden with its noiseless oriental ser- vice. The Bunny Hop, the Mexican Hat Dance, and of course the Jitterbug, added the tang of American flavor. In spite of these memories, the thing that will remain forever with us is the closeness and slight sadness we felt as we realized this to be our Senior Dance.
