Another big part of the Homecoming half-time was the presentation of the first float - a 15 foot Dragon, built by SGA. ' Glasgow's first Homecoming was a great success even though the game against Newark was a disaster. This did not stop the Dragon Fans from showing their excitement throughout the Homecoming festivities. To start off the Homecoming celebration, the seven queen candidates and their escorts arrived in chauffeur driven antique cars. While the band played the 1976 Prom Theme, the candidates and their escorts were introduced to the home crowd, Following the introductions, our Homecoming Queen and her two runners up were announced. Second runner up was Lorraine Lanouette, first runner up was Debbie Cross, and our 1976 Homecoming Queen was Sue Kennel, HQMECOMI G. .alumni flowers
