N-N chewing gum presents Backstage Life, written, directed, and por- trayed by the Junior Class. Remember our famous slogan: Chew N-N's. N-N means no noise, no nauseating odor. You do not have to be a has been any more. The teacher never catches you chewing N-N's. But more about that later. Now on with our tale of intrigue and---and---well, intrigue. Our last episode was concerned with thrilling experiences at Indian Rock Junior High, with the dissention of our Army of Buckeyes to be in GHS, an event equally as memorable as the Fall of the Bastille or the Normandy Invasion. If you remember, we were now a part of high school and members of our class were participating in school activities. And now, after being pushed around at Junior-Senior Banquets, pushing to top honors in interscholastic League literary and sports events, we arrive at today's epic, two Sadie Hawkin's Days olderf But first a word from our sponsors. This is station GHS, coming your way from inside the walls of Buckeye Institute of ---- knowledge? And sponsored by N-N chewing gum. Remember! If your chew's too loud, it's wrong, get N-N's. N-N's always do iust what you want them to do! And now, suddenly, our JUNIOR year has rolled around! With a crop of newly elected officers, we have proceeded to take the school by storm-- lat least all the money we can rake inl. First came ribbon sales . . . then the bottle breaking--Oh! I mean the drink selling. Every Saturday morning, a huge group fabout three! of the deiectecl and tired-looking JUNIORS met to pick up what was left of the cold drink bottles and deposit the money. Strangely enough, some of this money actually got to the bank! But what will these strange creatures do with all the gold and silver now in their possession? Where is the beautiful arena and coliseum where the JUNIOR-SENIOR BANQUET will be held? Who is to be that illustrious, secret guest speaker? What will the outcome be? For the answers to these questions, tune in next year and get the rest of the story of----Backstage Life by JUNIOR Class for should we say Senior Class?J Until then---don't forget to chew N-N's, constructed for no noise, no nauseating odor. Don't be half safe, get N-N's and be sure! P. S. The beauty of this composition is the simplicity of form and the total ommission of names, this, so as not to hurt anyone's feelings!
