The Monogram Club is a newly formed organization at Giles High School. The purpose of this organization is to provide a means of association for those boys who have excelled in athletics and to help further the athletic program at Giles High School. The Monogram Club assists lettermen in paying for their jackets and sweaters. They also sponsor the concession stand at basketball games. Monogram Club Has Successful Year 24

Key Club Continues Stimulating Work Affiliated with the Pearisburg Kiwanis Club, the Key Club is a service organization. Activities were centered around the theme, “Understanding, the Pathway to Human Dignity”. The club also sponsored Slave Day, the Harvest Ball, and the Miss G.H.S. Pageant. “What! Jr. Tri-Hl-Y Collects For Heart Fund The Jr. Tri-Hi-Y under the di- rection of Mrs. Ruby Hylton, had a very active year. In the fall, the Jr. Tri-Hi-Y was well represented at the annual District Conference in Floyd County. In fulfilling their purpose of service, members sent food and gifts to a family at Christmas, collected for the Heart Fund, and helped the F.C.A. with a canned food drive.
