TOM SAWYER From the world famed and loved book The Adventures of Tom Sawyer comes the hrst dramatic presentation of the 1941-42 season sponsored by the Mask and Vfig dramatic society. This line play was directed by Miss Ruth Mcllhenny and Miss Ruth Scott for the benefit of the General School Fund on October 22 and 24. The entire action of the la takes lace in the settin, room of once u on a time. . . . V 9 . . . . .P . Tom, a mischievous bo , furnishes entertainment with his bo ish ranks while Sidne who is U Y V P Y, always tattling on Tom, shares the honors. The plot centers around a murder, which Tom and Huck Finn witness. In the end Tom and Huck become the heroes of the town by bringing the murderer to justice. The best scene of the play occurs when Joe and Tom run away from home with Huck and return to witness their own funeral when they are believed to be dead. Aunt Polly welcomes Tom with open arms and Huck finds a home.
