By four o'clock, the school was quiet and empty except for one small group assembled backstage. Here voices could be heard above the uncertain clicking of typewriters. -1-,Qs Typing these senior activities is no cinch. Hush, how can I count words with you chattering away. Now I've lost count-l, 2. 3, 4 . . .H There, perfect--256 words, no more, no less. It didn't take long to realize that putting together a yearbook is a crossword puzzle, that chasing down absent staff members, finding misplaced pictures plus a little item of matching them with names, keeping copy and pictures by the long ton flowing in and out of the little oflice made for an entertaining, if not harried year. Ask any of the staff how the Lrzureolrz got together and you get tht- satne answerhult was nothing, nothing at all. And then comes the crowning blow. Some innocent student, unacquainted with eccentric yearbook edi- tors, says: It must be easy to put out a yearbook-you had a whole year.
