The season ended with a 3-6 record. The first victory was in defeating the schooI's crosstown rival, Botirgade. Their se- cond victory. was over Lake llavasu. This game the Redeoats won with at rushing total of BIO yards and two touchdowns. Their final victory over Independence was one which seemed to be a cttltnination of all past efforts, as every athlete gave his best to end the season with a victory. lt was the team's last game. and Independence. at the time. ranked third in the state and first in the AA Central Division. and was predicted to walk over the Redeoats. lt was quite an upset for them then. to be prevented byCier1tt'd's strong defense from scoring at all dtir- ing the game.

The team. in fact. won six of its seven games. defeated only by Buckeye, but definitely putting up a good fight.
