Keep Swinging Gerard's .I.V. Baseball Team worked hard all ye long and showed a lot of promise. Coached by LeBlanc, the team included freshmen, sophomores a juniors. Rich Murphy was the only freshmen represe tative. The sophomores were Jim Laubmaer, Tim R divo, Victor Candelaria, Clayton Greenen, Bri Kmetko, Rich Staley, Tom Slauterbeck and Jeff B ker. The junior members were Bob Navarro, .Io Phoenix and Tom Keppler. Captains Brian Kmetko and Tim Redivo led t team to victory over Globe and Bourgade, and they w their only game with Cactus. Lefs G0 Redcoals This year's Freshmen Baseball Team, coached by Mr. Miller, had a record of 6 and 7. They beat Bourgade and Dysart in both games and split with Globe and Mingus. Besides captains Rob Bowen and Steve Gore, the members of this persistent team are Jim Corco- ran, Dennis Kmetko, Ron Safcik, Troy Garcia, Jason Baker, Tim Carlson, Mark Stewart, Joe Knapp, Scott Watson, Brian Dur- kin, Roy Garcia, Dave Carroll, Greg Romero and Bill Byrnes.
