The Cross Country team unquestiona- bly put its best foot forward this season, placing fourth in their division. There was, however, more that attributed to their success than just skill, although the team had an abundant amount of that dexterity. The members of the team worked together, encouraged and helped one another. This year's Varsity Volleyball Team finished with a record of 8-7 for the year in their matches and in third place in the division standings. The girls worked hard all season and made a great deal of improvement as they progressed. Out- standing team performances were turned in against division opponents, Gilbert and Corona del Sol, resulting in impressive victories over those two teams. Receiving recognition for their perfor- mance during the season were Carey Hyler, Bridgette Moya and Denise Cal- cagno, who were voted to the Second Team All-Division Squad by the Confer- ence Coaches.
