With only thirteen musicians, the band performed twice for the school, once at Christmas and once at Easter. Although the band may lack in number, it makes up for it in Spirit. The band was honored to perform at the Phoenix Centennial Cele- bration in February of 1981 after performing at the Victorian Christmas, in Heritage Square during De- cember. The band continued to lift our spirits by performing during halftime at all of the Gerard foot- ball games. ln May, the graduating class will be honored by having the accompaniment of the band. The Gerard Catholic High School Chorus has given two performances this year, one at Easter and one at Christmas. These students are led by a newcomer this year, Mr. Eric Thorson. Mr. Thorson has put forth a lot of time and effort so we as Gerard students can be proud. Chorus strives for perfection.
