The one main goal for any baseball player is to do the best you can when you're playing offense or defense. This year's Fresh- men team is learning the basic skills of baseball. The coaches are trying to prepare them for upcoming years of baseball. The cap- tains of this year's team are Brian Kmetko and Gaiy Sharko. John Phoenix This years J.V. baseball team, coached by Floger LeBlanc and Joe Guinsler, is off to a good start with a 8-1 record. The boys practice every day, for endless hours. Each boy knows that he has to give his very best in order for the whole team to work. A team must have a goal, if that goal is to be the best, then it must be the responsibility of each player to develop the skills neces- sary to be the best! The coaches practice hard with the boys to help them improve and to strive for excellence. Keep your eye on the ball. Strike 'em out, tst.
