We will do better and continue to improve in the next three years Vince Calcagno Freshmen Basketball is the first step forward in order to become a true Ftedcoat. The experience gained by this year's freshmen team should be a strong asset to the upcoming years. This year's team had a lot to learn but little time to learn it in. The team put in a lot of hard work that seemed to be for nothing, but it is just the first step toward a State Championship.

Basketball was a real experience for me. Kevin Daugherty Gaining experience for future years is the main goal to any J.V. team. This year's J.V. Basketball team did just that. Ending up with a 12-6 season, each game played helped each player to improve himself. The Redcoats, led by Coach Jerry Stone, practiced every day to gain the necessary experience needed for a good season. What J.V. learned in every practice and game will be a strong asset to the upcoming Varsity team. Gerard Opponent 56 Independence 60 52 Cactus 49 57 Dysart 43 58 Phx. X Coaches Bill Kirch and Louie Mallett This year's wrestling team put in a lot of hard work that improved on their skills. This year's wrestling team had a tough season, ending with a 2-5 record. Although they had it rough this year, the team built their endurance and their team spirit. Coached by Louie Mallet, the wrestlers made great strides in self-improvement. Each wrestler had put forth his very best in each match to overcome his oppo- nent. Wrestling is not a team effort but an individual effort that has to be the very best in order to win your match. Tony Mack put out an outstanding ef- fort this year and was an important part of the team. Other outstanding ef- forts this year came from Bob Filler, Mike Fleming and John Licosati.
