Spirit For The History Books Mr. Carroll in one of his good moods. Even the agony of the foot does not effect Mr. Hollar's good humor. .l - ul The History teachers at Gerard concern them- selves with the present needs at the school. Mr. Jay Hollar, the department chairman, is around the school all year, spending some of his vaca- tion time working on summer maintenance. Mr. Jerry Stone is the J.V. football coach, J.V. basketball coach, and Varsity baseball coach. His is also in charge of intramural sports. Many students have noticed Mr. Stone's affiliation with McDonald's tthat is, he eats plenty of their foodlj Mr. John Carroll is well known for his tough poli- tics in teaching his classes. He is also famous for being the head coach for the Varsity football team. Mr. Carroll is also the assistant coach for Varsity baseball. The History Department is bal- anced out with the aid of everyone's favorite Vice-Principal, Dr. Vincent Sheridan.
