Although Dr. Vincent Sheridan has quite a sense of humor, he takes his job very seriously. Underneath that chewed-on cigar and New York accent, there lies a very hard-working man. Dr. Sheridan can al- ways be counted on to keep the students here at Gerard in line. His dedication stems from his concern for all of the students. We would like to express our appreciation to Dr. Sheridan for doing such a good job. Dr. Sheridan lets the newcoming freshmen know what discipline is all about. 26 Dr. Brandt Inspires Pride Dr. Brandt speaks to the Student Body about the Jog-a-thon. It takes a lot of dedication and love to make Gerard Cath- olic High School such a special place. Dr. Robert G. Brandt has these special qualities that unite the faculty and students as one. He brings about love and a Chris- tian attitude on, as well as off campus, and a real feeling of pride and spirit. Gerard is very lucky to have such a wonderful man as our principal. We thank you, Dr. Brandt, for your devotion and support which you so gen- erously extended to each of us. Dr. Brandt: Gerard Catholic High Principal Dr. Brandt leads us in prayer, as a family. The principal works hard to instill Christian values in the students.

Cheese Drive Gets Students Selling 'lllW-un........,.,, Gerard students spent two weeks during October persuading Phoenix residents to buy cheese, sausage, mugs, candles, and stationery. The spirited sellers sold far more than the school goal, and this year's payment on the field house was taken care of. Although each stu- dent's goal was S12, one dedicated senior, Dan Gilb, sold 365150. The highest selling homeroom was Mrs. Labra's freshmen, totalling 953519.75 Miss Dertina and Miss Simons were in charge of the cheese drive. Weary sophomores ask, How do we get all this home'?
