TBEAT NoGAl.Es 'i On Oct. 11, 1980, Gerard students showed their Homecoming spirit by dressing in the school colors, red and grey. The team's efforts were undoubtably rewarded as we conquered Nogales, taking home a 27-20 victory. The fol- lowing night was the Homecoming Dance, where a former Gerard student put on an act routine and the Homecoming Nominees were announced. Tom Briehl and Patty Gallagher won the king and queen royalties. Last year's winners, Dan Smith and Jean Aiamie, were present to hand over their scepter. Homecoming took place during the week of Oct. 5-11, but students had been preparing the floats since the beginning of the year. The Seniors and Sophomores must have worked just a little harder, as their float won 'i ls.
