This year's freshman class came to Gerard with high hopes and great expectations for their first year in high school. Their pri- mary deed was surviving the dreaded Freshmen lnitiation. They did this with that old Ftedcoat Spirit, which they continued to show throughout the year. The Senior-Freshmen tea went quite well. Many of the freshmen girls came to meet and become friends with the senior girls. The enthusiasm displayed at this event promised interest and eager- ness for similar gatherings at Gerard. The class of '84 has been a terrific frosh class and plans on being a great sophomore class next year.
