Frosh Cheer Leads on Rowdy Class Freshman cheer tryouts are held the first two weeks rf school. Six girls are chosen out of the twenty-eight that try oat. During the year the girls are called upon to promote spirit for the Freshman class. They spend a lot of time painting posters, practicing cheers and planning spirit boosters. The girls are an im- portant part of the Freshman class. They must be chosen with great care because they will represent the school and their team. This year's captain for the cheer line was Maria Clark. All fyfthe girls put in a great ejjfort to make this year's Freshman line a success. Each year mascots are chosen to represent Gerard.
