The J.V. teanz, combining at strong oflense and a powerjhll defense, ended the season with 219 points to their op- ponents' 34 points. The final record was seven wins and one loss. Pete Schwan was the leading ru- sher with over 1200 yards in 8 ganies. The offense was also helped by the ef .forts of John Verdzlgo and John Daley. Defense was anchored by Rocco Lu- cari, Shawn Finnerty and Larry Zieser. Coaches Stone, Christensen, and Berges were pleased with the ejyort and cooperation of the teani and are expecting great things from these boys next year.
