Brad} ' . Mason C. Clements, John L. Kelly, Douglas Moore, Bobby Quick, Lola Robbins, Martha Tootle, and Alvin Williams. Each year a selected number are chosen by a committee made up of the faculty and members of the junior and senior classes. This honor bestowed upon these outstanding students is comparable to the Rhodes Scholarship and Phi Beta Kappa. They were chosen above other students for their outstanding work in leadership, extra-curricula activities, scholarship, and whole hearted devotion to their school and fellow students. With such a standard as this set up each student may aim toward his own goals with Who ' s who heading the list for those with the initiative to reach it. Martha Tootle Manassas, Georgia 140 f % Im - 4TIHI ANNUAL iEAUTY REVIEW Lonadine Morgan from Egypt, Georgia, was crowned Miss T. C. of 1950 at the fourth annual Beauty Review held in an overflowing auditorium. Sponsored by East Hall and escorted by Keith Clements, Lonadine reached the finals with a natural beauty and winning smile, her poise that of a champion. The four other finalists featured here in the Beauty section with Lonadine are Dot Holloway, Bettye Lewis, Joan Harper, and Caroline Smith. The Beauty Review was originated by and has been directed by Mr. lack N. Averitt, for the past four years. The Art Club under the direction of Miss Freda Ger- nant was in charge of the decorations, which featured this year an old southern mansion. George Parrish gave the intermission enter- tainment, with his interpretations of Al Jol- son, and Mr. Jack Broucek provided the music for the entire program. Mr. John L. Kelly acted as the master of ceremonies for the evening. MISS BETTY FULLER MISS T.C. OF ' 49 Crowns MISS LONADINE MORGAN MISS T.C.
