Basketball and hockey thrills were not infrequent, with a number of outcomes featuring a G.V.Cf. victory, ln between the major games and long practices, badminton, ping-pong, and tennis enthusiasts entered tourna- ments for individual honors, while softball attained prominence by attracting many supporters from both classes. The groundwork for the activities of the organ' ization was laid by lsabel Perry before she was called home. Terry Gardiner then plunged into the year with a campaign to raise and encourage school spirit to support the games and events sponsored by the Association. A cheerleader squad was organized and led by -loan Roddy, and the entire student body shared in the fun and success of the year's activities.
