A Rowley Country Club 5 Graduation June 1 2, 1 38S B Js ' iif 7 B DEDICATION The theme of this book is " changes” and with the help of two special people we have managed to survive some of our most demanding changes. As a whole, we may not have always been the most enthusastic and coop- erative group, but these two have stuck by us through it all. We hope they both can see the changes in us and are proud of their part in getting us to where we are today. A It may seem rather customary for us to dedicate our yearbook to them — our advisors — but to us it is not a custom. This is our only yearbook. As we grow older and ineviatably drift apart it will serve to be the last tangable memory of our whole class as it is and was. With this in mind, we wish to bestow this dedication upon you. Mrs. Pauline Kinson and you, Ms. Robin Gustafson with all the honor which you both deserve. Thank you and love always. Mrs. Kinston was our advisor. She cared deeply about what happened to this class and its individuals. Known for being quiet and using soft words she would guide and suggest never showing doubt in any student. Yet when situations called for it this lamb like person would growl until her class was given what she felt was justice. We were and will always be her class. Her enthusiasm sparked and quickly ignited the class and it is now we recognize that our brilliant ideas were, perhaps, originally hers. She had courage to become a part of a wayward class that yearned for guidance and stability. Her positive atti- tude and good nature made all of us who knew her feel special and proud to be a part of the Class of 1988. She will always remain in our hearts and minds for as long as we remember our high school years. We love and miss you dearly. Thank you Mrs. K. The Class of 1988 1 2B Looking back it seems I have spent my whole life waiting for “the next change " ; starting school, moving — up to Penn Brook, advancing to High School, and finally becoming a senior. Now as I anticipate college, I find myself grasping at these final fleeting moments at GHS. Many of us have glorified Graduation Day as a day of em- ancipation. We have envisioned our diplomas to be our keys to “the real world. " However a fact that may elude us at this moment of achievement is that June 1 2 will be the last time we will ever assemble as an entire class. Future years and events will take each of us down different paths — to different cities, states, Possibly even countries — making entire class reunions impossible. Twenty years from now, this yearbook will serve as the sole tangible memory of the GHS class of 1988. That is why I am proud to have played a role in its creation. I am also thankful that Mr. Clay and Mr. Luca cared enough to sacrifice their time (especially their Sunday mornings), effort, and patience when nobody else bothered. Without them this yearbook would not exist. A thanks for understanding goes to Priv and my fellow Drama officers, my parents, Holly, and John (who gets an extra thanks for breakfast). I wish all of you the very best for the future. May you attain all your aspirations.
