FOREWORD As the sands of time” drift on through the years, many of the wonderful times experienced at G.H.S. will be forgotten. Through the pictures and articles in this book, we have tried to capture many of these moments so that they will be easily recalled. It is hoped that this book will be a possession treasured by all; for remember — memories are only a turn of the page away.

DEDICATION We proudly dedicate this 1968 Buffalo” to a man of many talents, Mr. Roland Hartley, for his outstanding contributions to Georgetown High School. By devoting so much of his free time to writing and directing plays, he has enabled many to share in his achievements. Mr. Hartley has won the hearts of the entire student body by his continual humor, quick wit, and expressions both in and out of the classroom. He has been especially appreciated by the Class of ’68 because of his guidance and assistance in a variety of projects these past four years.
