04 S fi X '-xy N5 anythmg of the happenmgs that were gorng on They told us that Mary Mmgee was happlly marrred t Dwrght Galyen had flve loxely chrldren and owned one of the most famous beauty salons In Callfornla They also told us that Betty McCoy and Margaret Lewrs were modelrng therr new poddle harr cuts Tanganylka Back rn our room we heard a flash bulletrn reportrng that Iryann Thompson Don Nrer and Wendell Morgan were playing on the All Star Football Team for Murray Slate College In the polrtrcal fxeld we heard Alexander was voted the best dressed cal man IH the states Decrdlng we had spent enough trme there we made reservatrons on the C 8: E Is newest streamlrner to Massachusetts Noted for 1ts great school of Harvard we heard that john Morrrs had been appointed s football coach at the college havrng made wonderful records whrle attendxng Yale And teachrng at the same college was Sally Nerld a professor of physrcs In this state Carroll Cravens Alma Constans and Mary Ellen Brooks were Florence Nrghtmgales thev were nurses rn the town of Allswell Massachusetts When we got ready to leave the state we decided once agam to travel by prxvate plane We stopped nn Indranapolxs to go to the speedway Lookrng at the racrng program we noticed Donna Mrlls name as the outstandrng D D D CDare Devrl Drnverj In the grandstand w saw Marllee Donaldson and Sara Rrchards so we stopped and chewed the rag wrth them for a few mmutes Marrlee sand that she was a PE teacher for the frrst graders ln Baldy Grade School She sard her star puprl was lrttle Susle Povr laxtrs daughter of Lee and Peggy Devore Pov1la1t1s Sara told us that she was a broadcaster of Statxon GOON Halbuck She sard she broadcasts Darly Dozen reducnng exercxses at 7 00 every mornmg We hated to leave those two but we had to return to our own sweet home of Illmols So for the last txme we boarded a tram to take us home to Georgetown QNX Our tr1p drew near an end as we came to George town but although we had traveled far and w1de to see our friends we dldnt realize how many were mak 1ng thexr homes rrght here ln Georgetown Illrnors Why johnny Lacey rs now manager of the Szrlagyx Grocery Store and he has appornted Lowell Kern to hrs past job as meat cutter Larry Hall IS owner of the largest prng pong factory rn Georgetown fthe factory was orrgmally the Plastlc Factory J Our dear old frrend Connre Galyen IS now Mrs bar and bowlmg alley Stopprng off at the Georgetown Hrgh School we learned that Emma jean Lewis had been the math teacher but she had lost her job because of flrrtrng wrth the boys so she decrded to become a kmdergarten teacher rnstead Meredlth Hartman now Mrs Joe Stokes IS the F H A advrsor and Home Ec teacher there Leaving the Hrgh School we stopped at the George town News Offrce and rn the paper janet Beauvors announced her engagement to Wrllard Morgan It stated that they were gorng to Hawauan Islands on thxer honeymoon Also rn the news rt sard that Sandra Smrth IS a well to do artlst lxvmg rn Parxs Her latest art pxcture IS Lona Mrsa Mary jo Cunnrngham who looked lrke a school marm rs now known far and wrde for her sklll rn dressmakmg She IS now a very successful professronal desrgner for the Brokerage Department Store Last but not least before we decrded to go home and remember all the fun we had we stopped off for a Grant Darry Queen Whom dld we see?
