This year’s Class of 1983 student officers have been ambitious and determined to reach the height of success. The slate includes: Lynne Fujimoto and Denise Wright — class Co-Presidents; Mary Daquioag — Vice-President; Kim Arikawa — Secretary; Lillian Lee — Treasurer; Yulauncz Draper, Cassandra Pickett, Bettina Poon, David Satoda, and Monetta White — Executive Council. These students’ main goal was to raise enough money and spirit for our senior activities, and they did a great job. Together as a group they organized our pep rallies, and together as a class, we over powered the undergrads by winning the screaming Eagles Trophy in the Golden Wing Pep Rally. That’s just the beginning of what they’ve done Kim Arikawa for our class. They also took the time out to plan our dances, food sales, fashion show, class picnic, Grad Nite, and most important of all, our Senior Prom! These ac- complishments were not for the benefit of themselves, but for the benefit of us as a class, to have the most successful year possible. Was this an easy task to perform? Well, for some it would have been hard, but for our mighty Class of 1983, all it took was the enthusiasm and sup- port of each other. All in all, most of the credit does belong to the student officers, for without their ideas and organizations, we would not be where we are now.
