CLASS OF FALL 1964 —HISTORY When this class entered Washington in Feb- ruary, 1962, it was small but possessed a great school spirit and a sense of responsibility to- ward the school and the class. During the first year their spirit was shown when many class members took part in two successful projects: the planting of shrubbery and the collection of the Eagle newspaper for servicemen. The junior year was highlighted by a viva- cious Junior Day entitled A Venture in Para- dise, the Junior Day Dance Tahitian Tuist, and a memorable Junior Prom Midnight Mist. Their many activities during their senior year included a highly original Senior Day which was called A World in Distress, and the Senior Day Dance Stardust. The Saturday before Graduation the Senior Prom was held at the St. Francis Hotel in the Italian Room. The theme of the prom was Bella Note. The class was sponsored for a year and a half by Mrs. Friedman, after which the spon- sorship was taken over by Mr. Lai.
