Fall Class History The Seniors of the class of fall 1947 have been outstanding in their various projects and have greatly contributed to school activities, produc- ing outstanding leaders and athletes during their terms at Washington. Their first projects were outside clean-up in the H-IO and inside clean-up in the L-1 I, both of these assignments were carried out very well. Orientation of new students, which is the induc- tion of new Washingtonians into the activities and customs, was the duty accepted by the class as H-11's. The cooperation of the entire school helped this class in their low senior year to carry out successfully a drive to collect money for veterans of government hospitals. In their last term at Washington the inspiring play, Cavalcade of American Music,' an original program that was produced and directed by Gabriel Plaa, the class president, was presented by the graduating Washington students; it earned the praise of being one of the finest piays ever produced at Washinqton.
