There are many classes of math offered during a Con- tinental's four school years. Although only one year of math is required, many students con- tinue to enroll in math courses each semester. Continentals continue their math studies by taking such advanced courses as geometry, trig- onometry, college algebra, analytic geometry, and senior math. The foundation upon which our English language is formed, foreign languages help the student who wishes to attend college. Including not only the underlying histories of Latin and Spanish speaking countries, but also the every- day habits of the native people, these courses add an extra spark to ignite the curiosity of Continentaland. Collecting the annual contribution to the Care fund, language students find relief in the knowledge that they are helping their fellow man. Translating Spanish phrases in the new laboratory room, students receive personal at- tention and aid in the study of the Spanish language.
