V, wife-1 X f J , 4' f' ,fff . fl 5 W J Z e I beauties were spotlighted The Homecoming Queen and court with escorts are Deanna Wise and Don Martin, Patsy Fendley and Jerry Lawlis, Janet Shaw and Don Ross, Joyce Har- mon and Jan Gufiin, Carolyn' Turn- er and Carl Peterson. Janet Shaw was chosen Queen by the student body and crowned by a member of the football squad, Dick Sebree, before the game- The Student Coun cil was re- sponsible for the beautiful orchid corsages worn by our lovely queen and her court. As Wasnington's band marched either down the football field or in parades, our high-stepping ma- jorettes and drum major could al- ways be seen leading the way. In their Hashy white outfits, they entertained between the halves at the football games. Pictured, left to right, are Sandy Harrington, Bonnie Postal, Pat Fendley, Errol Loviscek, Joyce Harmon, Juanita Jeffras, and Car- olyn Lee. Errol Loviscek, Washington's outstanding drum major, proudly led the band through their songs and formations. The majorettes, drum major, and marching band are all under the direction of Mr. Ray Funk. The success of our football sea- son was complemented by the con- sistently good performance of our band, inajorettes, and drum major.
