Acti ities 1 Through our many extra-curricular clubs and activities, We gain much experience and learn to accept responsibilities. When we engage in these different activities, we are under the guid- ance and supervision of many capable individuals. This year, joining the ranks of those who help us, were Mr. H. H. Walter and Miss Leunice Horne. Mr. Walter, a member of the Tech faculty for 29 years,has an A. B. rhfgrec from Butler University and an M. S. degree from Indiana Univer- sity. At the time Mr. Walter was appointed G. W. H. S. principal, he was a vice-principal at Tech. Miss Leunice Horne, our new dean of girls, also came to us from Tech where sho taught English and held the position as head senior sponsor. Miss Horne has an A. B. degree from Hiram College and an M. S. degree from Butler University. Larry Moore, Julia West, Anne Kessler, and Jan Guffin are pictured at the right welcoming Mr. Walter and Miss Horne to Wasliington.
