We, as the seniors of 1953, are about to embark as pioneers upon the careers of our after high school life. At the start of our four years we eagerly looked forward to the freshman-senior party, the sophomore guidance con- ference, junior roll call, and the Junior Rose Prom. We then eagerly antic- ipated being in senior roll call and going to such senior activities as the Snow Whirl. Now all these are behind us, and we look forward with a feeling of pride and accomplishment to Class Day, Senior Vespers, and the greatest of all events, graduation. We do wish to stop long enough in our busy whirl of activities to thank our sponsors, Mr. J. H. Jones, Mr. J. V. Stingley, Mr. William Bock, Mrs. Anne Burge, Mrs. Barbara Jean Hine, and Mr. Ross Campbell for the guidance and help they have given us this past year. We will always remember them for their willing assistance. The Senior Class executive committee is Richard Landrigan, Bill Bloemer, Tom Dobbs, Wayne Lentz, Bill McHugh, Gail Comer, Pat Craig, Carolyn Hick- man, and fkneelingj Richard Rush and Tom Figg. Chairman of the various committees are Tom Figg, Gail Comer, Richard Landrigan, and Carolyn Hickman. 6
