In this class besides the various experiments, the students learn the names of the ilements, their symbols, and the way these ele- ments combine to make compounds. Setting the Table Boys in the woodshop learn to make lamps, tables, bookends and other useful items. Shown in the picture are Joe Shires, sanding a lamp, Willard Beasley, Danny Hance, and Don Price. In the Home Economics class the students learn to cook, to set the table correctly, to manage a home.
