We are pioneers! Yes, we are pioneers of the future gen- erations. Not in the sense that we are wrestling a world from the wilderness, but in the sense that we are carving a new world from the for- est of steel and stone around us. The long and hard years we have spent in school before embarking into this adult world have made us better prepared to carry on our job. To advance and better our world we must be good followers as well as good leaders. The trail of learning has been blazed, and it is up to us to add to the fires of knowledge and un- derstanding that they burn ever more bright- ly. Table of Contents Classroom Activities Senior Section Faculty Clubs and Activities Sports U ndercl assmen Autographs We must not just accept the world as it is and be content to live on the achievements of the previous generations but must constant- ly strive to make our contribution towards im- proving it. Too many of us live with the atti- tude of letting some one else do it, but as pio- neers we should accept responsibility and get our job done to the best of our ability. Whether we go forward to the call of the bugle, to the rattle of dishes, or to the rush and clatter of busy city life, we must do our part as modern pioneers to make our world a better place in which to live.
