Gifs Students cmd Teachers Welcome New Principe At the opening all-school convocation, September 4, 1951, Stu- dent Council President Ed Kernodle presented to the students Mr. Wilbur S. Barnhart, new principal of George Washington High School. Mr. Barnhart, who has been an able administrator in the Indianapolis Public School System for many years, is the second principal in the history of G. W. H. S. He succeeds Mr. W. G. Gingery who retired from the principalship last year after serving' the school for 24 years. EWO H E 2
