A friend in need is a friend indeed is a motto that might well be applied to the guidance department of Clark. Not only do the guidance counsellors help every student plan his schedule but they are also available to listen to any personal problem that a student might have. Busy indeed is the life of our two counsellors, Miss Veva McAtee and Mr. Paul Wilkinson. Before school is started they must arrange schedules to lit the courses indicated by the pupils under their jurisdiction. They also arrange College Day and Career Day programs to bring outside information in these fields to interested students. The physical education department of Clark has always maintained the highest standards to be observed in regard to a gymnastic program. Physical fitness is emphasized in the work of our able gym instructors during the two years of required participation.
