Ninety dollars was taken in. Home-made movies were a unique feature in the advertising. Arrangements were under the supervision of Mary Ann Dubeck, decorations; Joe Matis, publicity and tickets; Rindalee Purinton, program; and Jack Williams, refreshments. During the year the class purchased a twenty-five dollar bond with the money in the treasury. George French was chosen to represent Clark at the Boys’ State Convention in Indianapolis. Sports again consumed a large portion of the athletic-minded sophomore boys. Bob Donham and Godfrey Labda showed promise in basketball, while football and wrestling appealed to others.
