It's All ln a Word... With the help of Christine Lewis and Buddy Speir, the marching band made a special a. appearance for Homecoming + 8 RN a bn .? 3 Od Spirit spir-it a: a special attitude or frame of mind. b: the feeling or quality or disposition characterizing something fun. From the first day of spirit week until the last fleeting seconds of the dance, students showed an abun- dance of spirit. How did they ex- press spirit? Some yelled, some jumped, some ate pie to show their enthusiasm. Junior John Pamer said that ‘“‘coming to school is spirit enough!’’ Even so, people found many ways to get into the rowdy attitude of things. Seniors tended to be the boisterous ones in the crowd. This was their last homecoming and making it the best was on the minds of each and every one of them. Climbing to the top, Senior Erin Dougherty cheers for the Mustang team. 12 HOMECOMING
