The show was spon- sored, as usual, by the junior class and helped raise money for the Ju- nior-Senior Prom, but it was cer- tainly not a “usual show.” This year’s theme was “Junior Variety Trivial Pursuit.’’ The theme showed up in many of the acts such as “‘A Quiet Evening of Trivial Pursuit” and in the master of cere- monies “‘trivial’’ stories, told by Roger Camp. Other memorable acts were ‘Ali Baba and the Flying Carpets,”’ “The Resurrection,” ‘‘Tooth- | | paste,” “Behind Blue Eyes,” and A family game of TRIVIAL PURSUIT the finale, ‘‘“Under the Board- walk.” The rehearsal time this year was extremely short because the show was earlier than usual. But thanks to a lot of hard work on the part of the cast, crew and especial- ly the directors, Mr. John Ballou and Ms. Val Picini, everything was together by February 14, 15 and 16. The team ended up 2nd in the standings and hopes to win the tournament, in which they won the first game. The defense was led by consistent Chris Buddendeck and Andy Condit, who were both named All-Conference. The scorers were led by Chris Behr, also named All-Conference, closely fol- lowed by James Condit. George Mason hopes these past winning seasons will set a tradition for years to come.
