Richard ponders on how the last one slipped through The 1975 Varsity Soccer team, lead by Coach Harold, had its toughest season ever, facing a schedule of 14 games, all against triple A oppo- nents. As always, the team was crippled by having a small squad with few substitutes. Although the team was small and inexperienced, the help of Mike McCormack on the front line and Billy Kil- liam in the heart of the defense, gave every team a run for the money. Although having a rough year, four players were picked for the All Northern Virginia Soccer team. They were - 1st team: Captain, Billy Killiam, and Mike McCormack , leading goal scorer for the Mustangs; 2nd team: first year rookie goalie, Richard Amacher, and the other team captain, Sam Jordan, at fullback. MOST SPIRITED - Sam Jordan MOST IMPROVED - Richard Amacher MOST OUTSTANDING - Bill Killiam Steve Churchill anxiously awaits the ball. 17
