Going Rough Across Country With only two seniors out for the Cross Country Team, Coach Tom Carey had a difficult time winning meets this year. Most Valuable Runner Kim Champion I 5' and Chris Boswell were the only upper- classmen participating in the sport this season, so losses can be chalked up to in- experience. However, the team did defeat Osbourn in a meet held at the historically famous Manassas Battlefield, during a rainstorm proving that they were men for all seasons. Returning next year with their hard earned knowledge, Ed Collins, Paul Kar- nis, and Jim Powell form a strong nu- :fs cleus for the long distance squad. if Kim Champion labovel overtakes an op- ponent at the Osbourn meet.
