John Russell Guy John An easy-going, soft spoken Southerner, John occasionally took time off from talking Kentucky style to play chess or cross the country or go hunting in the 'possum patch. QE -- 4-sh fi lu Liu , 1, Charlotte Cherry Hall Cherry G.M.'s Georgia peachg Cherry is cheery, bright, and talkative and has a sincere interest in other people. She showed de- pendable leadership as Presi- dent of the Tri-Hi-Y and looked TODOLY beautiful as the 1965 Christmas Queen. up Ednajean Hamberg Bunnie Flirtations and gay... friendly and nice, Bunny is a hard worker, whether helping the class in the Variety Show or leading cheers. It you see a friendly wave from a girl in a red Corvair-itls Bunny.

Joan Ardath Gilmore Darlene Claire Gomes Constance Anita Goodyear Courtenay Janes Griilith Adelaide Joyner Grillo 10011 Lynn Connie Jamie A delaide When she wasn't sitting in a quiet nook studying, Joan could be seen running up and down halls, seeing who was coming to Reader,s Chorus. She was always busy using her many talents to the advantage of choir, church, and the Sen- ior Class. Lynn, a fun-loving, spirited girl, could usually be seen walking around with head held high-to make her appear tallerg and a smile on her face -to cheer up the rest of us. Quiet and serious, Connie's days were filled with dreams of becoming a writer. Sophisticated and creative, Jamie was chosen the Most Talented member of our class and has proved her ability as art editor of Tempo, Jamie made a striking appearance as senior attendant at the Christ- mas Dance. Adelaide, our Most Scholarly, is a serious student, but have you noticed that twinkle in her eyes? When not translating the Gallic Wars or typing madly, she is having a backyard bar- beque. 25

Scott Clifton Hansbarger Scott Scott was one of those liberal- minded seniors who dared to associate with underclassmen. Seftora Costa must have appre- ciated this, for Scott was her favorite pupil. Hey, Scott-do you- know a good lawyer? Someone stole my lunch . . . i' Qt Claudia Harcourt Claudia Claudia has a remarkable tal- ent for finding the ocean. She loves swimming and her Christmas suntan was the envy of everyone. When she is not searching for the sun, she can usually be found knitting, Hut- ing or parlant fl'UIlQ!1fS. Robert W. Harmon Bob Bob could be found in the middle of every Senior Section, cheering on the gallant Mus- tangs, When he prefers quieter activities, he listens to music, plays music, or collects frogs. ,WAX S Q C .Qtr Diane Phillips Harrell Diane Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, Diane came to G.M. for her Senior year bringing with her her southern Hi y'all and her boundless energy. She immedi- ately became active in Key- ettes, Dramatics, and F.H.A. and prayed all winter to see her first big snow. Mark S. Haynie Mark Mark was most often seen with wind-blown hair and a satished smile walking through the halls or playing basketball at T.J. 27
