'sm .. f w . xl Kathleen Frances Dwyer Kate Kate is a welcome member of the class of '66 . . . and the crew . . . Her Irish-pixie smile lights a glowing path on distant trips . . . if you can find her in the crowd. ,ef Mary Catherine Edmondson Cathy Sophomore Class President, chairman of the Prom, Senior Class Representative, S.C.A., and thusly Cathy was voted 'LBest Leader. She was swift whether itls on her Honda, in a swimming pool, or on a dance Hoor. She can usually be found singing tenor or even bass. She loves pierced earrings and poor- boy sweaters. i 1 Marion Lee Edwards Marion As President of the Junior class, Captain of the Cheer- leaders, and Treasurer of the S.C.A., Marion worked and showed her enthusiasm for the school and class. Vivacious and outgoing, she justly deserved her superlative as Best All Around. Ai NFB Stephen Roy Everett Steve Steve with the quiet Y'all is that rare breed of student who has never failed one of Mr. Brown's tests . . . in fact, one wonders if ever he failed any tests. He was that boy in the back of your class who, when he wasn't blushing, looked like he was asleep. Don't let him fool you. He wasn't asleep. He was dreaming of snow.

Susan Gail Decker Sue Sue is often seen in a John Lennon cap and artistically paint-splattered blue jeans, shopping in Georgetown, skip- ping French, majoretting, and smiling hysterically. .W i Alba Lucia De Mendoza Alba A welcome addition to the Latin-American population of G.M., Alba is good-natured and talkative. We won't soon forget her friendliness and im- promptu cha-chas in the halls. Roger Earl Diehl Roger It is most likely that Roger will succeed. His serious, indus- trious nature and his excellent ability have made him a much envied student. His favorite pastimes include ringing bells and lounging around Mr. Sutherland's Coke machine. Stephen Wheatley Dreslin Steve The Sheep Dog likes to race cars at Tom Thumb. He hopes to become an architect and will perhaps build the first un- derwater city. I it 1, - .sat Adela Norma Driben Adela You're kidding me! When Adela, our foreign exchange student, arrived from Argen- tina, she doubted our sincerity, but as the year progressed, we managed to convince her that Mr. McBlair does exist. fPier1sa luego exisfe.J With her she brought a friendly smile and los ojos mas grandes que los pies. There will undoubt- edly be a migration of the male population of the current senior class to Argentina this summer. Si, Adela, verdadera- mente, hay nieve en Falls Church! 21

1 1 is me , Margaret Jane Ewalt Peggy Undoubtedly the most organ- ized student at G.M., Peggy was usually rushing around ful- Hlling her many duties as pres- ident of Keyettes, and could easily inform you of the serv- ice projects in the Washington metropolitan area. Tyrone Bruce Ferguson Tony Most of us know Tony for the sweet, kind guy he is. Few people, because of his modesty, know that Tony is one of the foremost bicycle racers in America. Deborah Lynn Ferrell Debbie One of the few true individuals of our class, Debbie's original- ity varies from her '49. Chevy -packed with a variety of trash and a folk guitar--to her long hair and red plaid poncho. Debbie's talents and uniqueness will not soon be forgotten. Scott Owen Fisher Scott Father of those long posters that wind all around the school, Scott, with his unique style of writing and his never finished sneezes, seemed to be one of the few who enjoyed Humanities fEditor's comment: Hall When last seen, he was wandering towards the Post Office, mumbling something about deadlines. f Iv 1 E -ir, - ...ts Diane Ruth Flick Diane Her owl-rimmed glasses give Diane an engaging air of in- trigue. Indeed she is so myste- rious that no one knows what to expect. However, we are certain that she should be an asset to any business firm. 23
