With an edge on the humor of G.M. and her big brown eyes, she just missed that turn on the road. 3 -- i' ., if .er Donn Philip Crane Donn Donn, the Sportsman-poet of George Mason, was also the peace maker of Humanities class. He was always prepared to make a solemn remark and just as ready to shrug it off and return to his beloved kazoo, harmonica, or whatever. Marshall Bryan Crawford Marshall Marshall suffered along with the rest of us, counting the hours until 2:30 so that he could Hee home and play foot, basket, or base ball. Shelley Ann Crumpler Shelley Shelley was voted g'Friendliest,' because she has the most con- tagious laugh of any senior. She has a serious side, how- ever, when it comes to fulfill- ing her duties as president of the F.N.A. Vivacious, outgoing, optimistic-that's Shelley.

Georgette Renee Chapins Georgette Dear George, I have a prob- lem .. . Georgette will al- ways be remembered for her well-intended advice. Her jokes livened up many a class, espe- cially Mr. Thompsorfs. Donald Alfred Chapman Don Some think that he spent too much time with his guitar and Corvair and not enough time with his homework. Don't you believe itg he'll tell you himself that he spent at least 10 min- utes a night on it. U. Claude James Clifton, III Jimmy The fastest wallet south of the Potomac, Lord Jim will always be known for his papier-mache clutch. No one could ever for- get Mr. Gant from Danville. L- D, George Richard Codrea George George is frequently seen in a red Fiat either searching for Count Dracula's Transylvanian castle or for an inspiration for a poem. Known as one of the few faithful Dietzmen, he will also be remembered as a Spanish scholar. ll , E. p Jo Ann Cole Jo Ann One of the Florence Nightin- gales of G.M., Jo Ann could be found in the library with the other 179 seniors, protect- ing their rights from the Great Unwashed. 19

Susan Gail Decker Sue Sue is often seen in a John Lennon cap and artistically paint-splattered blue jeans, shopping in Georgetown, skip- ping French, majoretting, and smiling hysterically. .W i Alba Lucia De Mendoza Alba A welcome addition to the Latin-American population of G.M., Alba is good-natured and talkative. We won't soon forget her friendliness and im- promptu cha-chas in the halls. Roger Earl Diehl Roger It is most likely that Roger will succeed. His serious, indus- trious nature and his excellent ability have made him a much envied student. His favorite pastimes include ringing bells and lounging around Mr. Sutherland's Coke machine. Stephen Wheatley Dreslin Steve The Sheep Dog likes to race cars at Tom Thumb. He hopes to become an architect and will perhaps build the first un- derwater city. I it 1, - .sat Adela Norma Driben Adela You're kidding me! When Adela, our foreign exchange student, arrived from Argen- tina, she doubted our sincerity, but as the year progressed, we managed to convince her that Mr. McBlair does exist. fPier1sa luego exisfe.J With her she brought a friendly smile and los ojos mas grandes que los pies. There will undoubt- edly be a migration of the male population of the current senior class to Argentina this summer. Si, Adela, verdadera- mente, hay nieve en Falls Church! 21
