Her jokes livened up many a class, espe- cially Mr. Thompsorfs. Donald Alfred Chapman Don Some think that he spent too much time with his guitar and Corvair and not enough time with his homework. Don't you believe itg he'll tell you himself that he spent at least 10 min- utes a night on it. U. Claude James Clifton, III Jimmy The fastest wallet south of the Potomac, Lord Jim will always be known for his papier-mache clutch. No one could ever for- get Mr. Gant from Danville. L- D, George Richard Codrea George George is frequently seen in a red Fiat either searching for Count Dracula's Transylvanian castle or for an inspiration for a poem. Known as one of the few faithful Dietzmen, he will also be remembered as a Spanish scholar. ll , E. p Jo Ann Cole Jo Ann One of the Florence Nightin- gales of G.M., Jo Ann could be found in the library with the other 179 seniors, protect- ing their rights from the Great Unwashed. 19

, D: -f '-ff g . J Richard Scott Burke Scott Scott strode into George Ma- son earlier this year. He was immediately seized by Guid- ance and trapped into taking Humanities and calculus. Poor Scott could usually be found in the library, trying to recover. l Gerald Andrew Byrd Gerry Gerry, in his first and last year at George Mason, brought with him not only 6'3 of good sportsmanship, but also that lit- tle extra spirit that enabled the Mustangs to win many victo- ries. Mary Ann Caruso Mary Ann Mary Ann of the small size and the big voice, brightened those dreary Monday mornings with her cheery smile and four- foot humor. It can truthfully be said that she leaves George Mason on a good note. Carey Robert Chadd Carey One of G.M.'s gay blades. A fellow who cuts a good figure whether on the ice or off.

With an edge on the humor of G.M. and her big brown eyes, she just missed that turn on the road. 3 -- i' ., if .er Donn Philip Crane Donn Donn, the Sportsman-poet of George Mason, was also the peace maker of Humanities class. He was always prepared to make a solemn remark and just as ready to shrug it off and return to his beloved kazoo, harmonica, or whatever. Marshall Bryan Crawford Marshall Marshall suffered along with the rest of us, counting the hours until 2:30 so that he could Hee home and play foot, basket, or base ball. Shelley Ann Crumpler Shelley Shelley was voted g'Friendliest,' because she has the most con- tagious laugh of any senior. She has a serious side, how- ever, when it comes to fulfill- ing her duties as president of the F.N.A. Vivacious, outgoing, optimistic-that's Shelley.
