FGREWCDBRD HE Nineteen Hundred and Forty issue of the Sketch Book marks another step in its growth and progress. ln December 1939, the Sketch Book completed the twenty-thfth year of its existence, though not always published in its present form. From December 1915 until Decem- ber 1919 it was issued monthly, combining in its pages what is now the Bulletin and the present Sketch Book. In january 1920, the Hrst com- mencement class book was published. Since that time, the January and the June classes of each succeeding year have edited Sketch Books of their own. As George Westinghouse High School has progressed, the Sketch Book has also kept pace. And so, this year, as an innovation, the classes have joined in the publication and offer not two books but one --- a bigger and a better book, it is hoped.
