kv 7!L80t2 To the Class of '48: Vik have hnished yet to begin. Cnr high school days are over and now we are about to enter another phase of our lives. For some of us that means college, a career or marriage. Vi'hatever we undertake. let us do so with a will to work hard and win our goal. As Samuel Clemens said, Let us so live our lives that when we die even the under-taker will be sorryf, I hope that we may always remember the past four years which we have just experienced. Remember as freshmen how pert and smart we were.. Wfe piled our arms full of books, struggled home and studied 'til the wee hours of the morning. As sophs, we were still rather green, studied a little less and had signs of coming into our own. W'hen we were made juniors--that was the day. It was then that we had our first tastes of the social world. As seniors, we didn't quite live up to the name sophisticated seniors, but at any rate we had our fun. With sincerest appreciation to Nliss Katharine White and Mr. Edward Cuony who have devoted much time and work toward making this bool-c possible. Sincerely yours. The Editor.
