JUNIOR MISS HARTFORD SHARON McDONALD Sharon McDonald was crowned Jr. Miss Hartford February 6, 1982. The eight girls competed in areas of Talent, Evening Wear and Scholastic Achievement. Also, the girls had two interviews with the judges and performed a physical fitness routine to Physical . There was a winner in each category. Raven Donaldson was Mistress of Ceremonies. She provided the entertainment through the evening. Sharon McDonald won the Judges Interview, Physical Fitness Award and Scholastic Achievement Award. Teresa Enfinger won the Talent Award and Evening Wear. First Alternate was Teresa Enfinger and Second Alternate was Lisa Kornegay. Joyce Jordan Crowned 1982 Miss Bronze After competing in the areas of sportswear, talent, swim wear, and evening wear, Joyce Jordan was named as the 1982 Miss Bronze. The pageant was sponsored by the Black Studies Club with entertainment being provided by the Aerobic Dancers, Ann Robinson, and the Street Dancers. First runner-up was Moneak Hilliard, Second runner-up was Mary Hill, and Third runner-up was Mary Nell Johnson. Last year's queen, Laura Jordan, crowned the new queen.
